My trip to Chicago day 3:
Did you know that there are beluga whales in Chicago?
And that I ALMOST got to see Messi play?
I was really excited to see Messi play in a MLS game, as he had recently joined Inter Miami, an American soccer club, but, unfortunately, he wasn’t there.
In my final blog about Chicago, I visited The Shedd Aquarium and watched a Chicago Fire soccer game, and learned some interesting facts along the way, like how a Pacific white sided dolphin can jump 20 ft in the air!
I started my day off with a mochi donut.
It was from a bakery that is down the street from my hotel.
It has so many pastries that I couldn’t remember half of them!
But my favorite was the mochi donut.
But how is it made?
Mochi is rice dough with ice cream in the middle.
Some of you might think, you can’t put ice cream in a donut!
In Japan, they use the rice dough and make it into a donut,
then top it off with sweet creamy icing.
After all that goodness, we went to the Shedd Aquarium.
The Shedd was awesome! It had real BELUGA WHALES! Did you know that Beluga whales make lot of clicks and other noises for communication?
There were also some awesome sharks!
After, we went to Chicago Fire’s football stadium. {The Chicago bear’s one.}
Messi wasn’t there, but it was a very fun experience. Unfortunately, Inter Miami lost 4-1.
